Love this! It’s so easy to use, my kids are obsessed with making slushies. When you use the right about of salt/ice it makes a really nice slushie. It’s easy to take apart and clean. It’s a little bigger than a size of a blender, I do wish it was a little smaller for storage purposes. And it only takes about 20-30 minutes to make a slushie.

We purchased this for our son who just had surgery, he was so excited!It arrived and I read the instructions and turned it on to see if it worked before adding the ice and salt.The motor made sound but would not turn anything.I took things off, moved them manually to make sure it was all movable and put it back together. Still just sound, no movement.I called the customer service number in the manual it came with and a rude lady answered.I told her I had just opened it and the problem and she said "Where did you purchase this?" And I said "Amazon", her response "well did you try returning it?"...Excuse me? I JUST opened it! Why have a customer service number if that is your solution.She was no help.She told me I needed to send an email with what I purchased, and where, my name and contact info and they would get back with me.Makes zero sense.

I bought this ice machine as a birthday gift for my daughter. It was more $ than I would have thought an icee machine would cost and the reviews weren’t that high but it’s what she wanted. The first icee we made was great! We used the cola syrup then decided to just use Coke. Both worked great and she was so happy. We pulled it back out one hot late spring day to make another round of Coke icee. The plastic piece on the bottom of the spinner snapped! Making the whole barrel unable to turn. The return window was closed but I contacted the seller Fizz Creations. They replied back to me in less than 24 hours. They worked with the warehouse and are sending me out a replacement part! Highly recommend the product if buying from Fizz Creations!

I used it once and it worked great. Used it a second time without following the instructions and it was terrible thought it was broken but that's why they have instructions to follow. So follow them and you will get the perfect slushee. Now the syrup that you can purchase with this is 0/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! That syrup was nasty and they need to remove it from being purchased. We just use whatever juice we have and want to make it into a slushee. But overall this product is great and fun especially for the kids to use during the Summertime.

Hey there, parent... I see you thinking you're kiddos are going to lose their minds when they have 24-hour access to slushies. No doubt going to be the best Christmas present ever right??? Wrong.1. This thing is louder than a Boeing 747. It is LOUD. We had it running in the den downstairs, and the sound of it churning was enough to put all of us on edge for the first 4 hours of our Christmas day.2. Why did it take 4 hours? Well, that's my own fault. You have to follow the instructions perfectly. A lot of these reviews are negative because morons didn't pay attention to the booklet word for word. I'm here to tell you that you need to adhere to those guidelines. That's no fault of the manufacturer, but I will say that this is not an easy peasy lemon squeezy contraption. It's more like hard hard lemon hard. Definitely not a carefree experience. It doesn't have a refrigerant in it. It basically works by churning ice in a core. You are the one who is in charge of refilling and monitoring the ice and the salt mixture.... It's not like a mini fridge where it's going to cool itself down.3. It's not going to be as amazing of a gift as you think. My 3-year-old goes ape over blue icees, and honestly, having it at home was not that incredible of an experience. Kids don't care that they can have something at home. They care that they get something special when they go out with you. The novelty of having this is not something in the preschooler age of development. It might be better with older kids, but my toddler was not as impressed as I thought she would be. Again, that's not any fault of the manufacturer, just a word to the wise.4. Never did. I think I would encounter something that would successfully give me hypertension, sensory overload, and put me on the edge of divorcing my husband... But ding ding ding we have a winner. This monstrosity with its loud mechanics and complicated instructions put me on the edge all morning. And I know what you're doing. You're reading the reviews trying to decide if this is a good idea or a bad idea. Surely these other morons had no idea what they were doing, and you are going to be one of the few people that has a genuinely positive experience with this thing.Look, if you have your mind made up, I'm not going to talk you out of this purchase. But I will say this. I would not buy this again. I honestly thought that this was going to be the best Christmas present ever, and I don't think my daughter appreciates it any more than her other presents. It doesn't register in her mind that this is like five times more expensive than everything else she received, and that is completely normal. Does it make slushies? Yes. It's a pain in the butt, but it does make slushies, and there is a learning curve. I'm not going to return it, honestly because I think it's going to make some pretty bomb cocktails next summer... It works fine for $100, but if you are buying this with the presumption of making your kids Christmas, birthday, or whatever AMAZING.... DON'T. Don't stress yourself out over this beast.

I wouldn't give it a solid 5 as it does have some issues. Sometimes it likes to shut off after being on for 5 minutes. It doesn't do that often though, so it doesn’t get too many points knocked off. After reading reviews, I thought this was going to be way noisier than it actually was. It’s relatively noisy, but it’s to be expected, no? It does take a while for it to get to an icee consistency, relatively it took me between 35-40 minutes each time. It also has difficulty freezing the bottom of whatever you put in, but the middle and top freeze with ease. You can make about 3 small servings or 2 medium servings of whatever you put in, so it’s good for small groups. The taste is entirely dependent on what you put in, I recommend using pre-made juices and such. Its relatively durable, it’s lasted about 10 uses so far, spread out between months and weeks between said uses. It’s also really easy to clean if you clean it immediately after use. That being said, it’s a good machine, lasts a while, and is durable. However, if you’re looking for high-speed or low noise, this is not it. It is slow, and slightly noisy.
