When my Corgi was little, I used the powder and added it to her food. It wasn’t a big deal, but I confess she missed doses if things were really busy, but it did work well and I liked that the vet approved. She is now 13 and her teeth are looking pretty dang good, but we’d like to keep it that way. She thinks they’re a treat so I don’t have to coax her into eating them, nor am I trying to control her wiggles while trying to brush her teeth. They don’t upset her tummy (she gets 2 a day) and are soft so a dog missing a lot of teeth would still be able to enjoy them. She’s been using them since June and they seem to be working well; her breath is fresher and the vet was pleased to not see more plaque. She also gets a ProDen dental bone about 3 times a month for added protection.

This stuff makes a big difference! We will still have our dog’s teeth cleaned annually, BUT he no longer has that awful dog breath! We tried several things, and nothing worked at all. I was surprised this worked because he just gulps it down without chewing! We started using it about 2 weeks after having his teeth cleaned by our vet. That’s about how long it took for his breath to start smelling bad again. It was probably another 2 weeks (minimum) before I started to realize his bad breath was becoming less obvious. Now, it doesn’t smell bad at all. He gets one piece every morning, and if I forget, he reminds me. Definitely worth the money, no side effects, and it works!

Have an almost 14 year old terrier mix with a host of medical conditions. Her breath has gotten very bad in her senior years. Needed to do something as her breath was very stinky to cuddle with her. Heard about the magic of seaweed and dog's teeth and breath. After pouring over hundreds of reviews regarding seaweed products for dog dental health, decided to give these a try as it had reviews that did not worry me with all my dog's medical issues.. After about a week on these chews, I can say it really works. I could tell the difference in 3 days, after a week on these chews, her bad breath is gone. I took one star off because these are not "soft chews" as advertised. They are hard. I have to break one chew daily into several small pieces for my senior dog to chew with her teeth so I am not worried about breaking her teeth. I sometimes dunk the chew pieces in water to soften them up a little to make sure my dog chews the pieces to get the benefits of the seaweed but overall very happy with the results

The cat soft chews were really too large. I tried cutting them in half to make them easier for my cats to eat. I have 2 cats, and after each cat tried one, they have refused any others. Just the smell of them sends my cats running. I then tried the salmon flavored scoopable bites. Unlike the soft crews, which came in a plastic jar, these arrived in envelope packaging. Unfortunately, they also shipped in an envelope, and instead of arriving as "bites", they arrived as crumbles. I was able to find a few bites in the package, which unlike the soft chews, were appropriately sized. But my cats rejected these also. They each tried one, then have totally rejected any more.I have tried Greenies Dental Treats also, but they contain wheat, and causes one of my cats to puke. So I'm still looking for something for my cats dental health.

I feed these to my dog daily and he has no signs of plaque/tartar. I don’t think they really improve breath but it definitely keeps teeth clean! The chews themself have a pretty strong scent, almost alcohol like, but it doesn’t bother me and my dog eats them right up.

Not sure if they work or not. My cats will not eat these. They don't seem to be interested in them in the slightest. I even tried mixing them in their regular food. They refused to eat both their regular food and these dental treats. I had to dump out all the food and replace it before they finally ate their regular food.

My dog was on the powder and it was a bit annoying. Now they have the pill and it's soooo easy! The ingredients are the same, it's just way easier than the tiny scoop in the other version.My dog has been on PlaqueOff for a couple months (4?). He's 15 and I had the vet look at his teeth last month. She said they look great for a dog that old! I wish I had taken a before photo so I don't have to compare by memory, but I can for sure see a difference in his teeth.He has animal protein allergies and this product is great because he can't have any of the chews with rawhide or animal proteins in it at all so this gives a clean-teeth option for involuntarily-vegan pups like himself! We use this in conjunction with VeggieDent and his old man teeth sparkle!

Our chihuahua mix had some terrible bad breath. We bought these and they helped some. I forgot to order them and didn’t have them for about two weeks. Well they were helping more than I thought! The bad breath came back with a vengeance!! When they arrived we started giving them to our dog again and no more bad breath. It took about a week to notice a real difference. We will always have them on hand from now on.
